Howard enjoys hometown HR Derby

Ryan Howard said he wanted to hit just one out, just one home run in front of the hometown crowd. And this was his hometown crowd.
Howard, who grew up just outside St. Louis, hit 15 home runs in two rounds Monday night in the State Farm Home Run Derby at Busch Stadium. His seven homers in the first round advanced him to the semifinals with Nelson Cruz, Prince Fielder and Albert Pujols, but his eight homers in the semifinals were not enough to reach the finals for the second time in his three Derby appearances.
